The Early Assessment and Support Team or EAST brings effective care and community support to young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis. With the right help, most people can recover successfully and have a full, productive life.

2. EDIPPP NEW!
MVBCN has received a four-year grant from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to join their new national program for preventing psychotic illness in youth. This program is called Early Detection and Intervention for the Prevention of Psychosis Program or EDIPPP.

3. Oregon Early Psychosis Dissemination Project NEW!

The Oregon Department of Human Services - Addictions and Mental Health Division has embarked on a project to spread EAST and build the capacity of other (non-MVBCN) mental health organizations to provide these services. MVBCN is heavily involved in bringing some of the necessary technical assistance to many areas of Oregon.
