1. Early Assessment & Support Team The Early Assessment and Support Team or EAST brings effective care and community support to young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis. With the right help, most people can recover successfully and have a full, productive life. Visit the MVBCN-Sponsored EAST Website |
2. EDIPPP MVBCN has received a four-year grant from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to join their national program for preventing psychotic illness in youth. This program is called Early Detection and Intervention for the Prevention of Psychosis Program or EDIPPP. Visit the EAST Website for EDIPPP |
3. Oregon Early Psychosis Dissemination Project In 2007, the Oregon Department of Human Services - Addictions and Mental Health Division embarked on a project to spread EAST and build the capacity of other (non-MVBCN) mental health organizations to provide these services. MVBCN is heavily involved in bringing some of the necessary technical assistance to many areas of Oregon. For information on early psychosis intervention services across Oregon, go to: Early Psychosis and the Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA)
A portion of MVBCN’s website is reserved for the staff of these programs to access and download specific technical assistance materials.
