Continuous Quality Improvement Process
MVBCN is motivated by a spirit of collaborative innovation. We are excited about the possibilities created by replacing management-by-regulation with a continuous quality improvement process. Quality Management Committee (QMC) is the engine for regional discussion and decision making about initiatives which can move us as a Network closer to realizing our vision. The committee is made up of 40% consumer advocates, 60% professionals (mostly at the manager or clinical supervisory level within the provider agency).
QMC's tasks include: --developing the annual Quality Improvement Plan for Council approval --monitoring implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan --overseeing quality improvement efforts at the agency level --approving all requests for regional training --recommending practice guidelines and other policies to Council for approval
